Saga Prefecture

The Saga Wagyu is one of the famous premium brands of wagyu supervised by the JA  Group(Japan Agriculture). Only Japanese black cattles are certified and must mark above 7 out of 12 in the Beef Marbling Standard set by the Japan Meat Grading Association to be branded as ‘Saga Beef’. The rich environment in Kyushu Island makes it ideal for them to raise their cattles and produce beautiful, fine-grained marbled beef.
